WJWC condemns Houthi aggressions on Sana'a

Women Journalists Without Chains (WJWC) expresses deep concern over bloody confrontations in the north of the capital Sana'a which claimed the lives of civilians and soldiers.

The killing and intimidation practiced by the Houthis aim to undermine the transition and plunge the state into sectarian and civilian war.
WJWC warns against the siege of the capital Sana'a from all its directions, killing and intimidation of civilians.
While WJWC also condemns brutal acts committed by the Houthi Movement, it holds President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, political parties and civil society organizations fully responsible for what is happening in Sana'a and the rest of governorates in which the Houthi militias are staging wars against civilians.
WJWC calls the international community, particularly the Security Council to enact deterrent sanctions against armed militias and its allies.
It also calls the UN Sanction Committee to swiftly move and impose sanctions against individuals and groups which cause the tension of situations.
WJWC affirms its support to military and security forces in checking terrorist acts carried out by al-Qaeda and Houthi militias.
